Evaluation and Review

Overall Objectives

The aim of this consultancy program is to support organizations in evaluating and reviewing key aspects of their operation, to identify areas for improvement and to improve outcomes in performance. Rigorous evaluation is essential to determine what works and what does not work – it provides a framework for planning, monitoring and to learn from experience.

We will assist organizations in developing rigorous evaluation systems so that it becomes an ongoing monitoring and learning process that can be used to

  • Strengthen organizations, their projects and programs.
  • Inform decision makers on the best use of their resources.
  • Assist organizations in Strategic and Operational Development.

This program can be used on its own or as a component of each of the PTA consultancy programs.

Format and Approach of Consultancy Program

We design our Consultancy Program to suit your organizational requirements, including all or any of the following:

  • Work in collaboration with the organization to identify objectives and the focus of the consultancy, including targets, timescales and costs. 
  • Evaluate the present situation by gathering facts and discussions both formal and informal with relevant staff and where appropriate the service user. 
  • Provide a report outlining the evaluation and review findings – for discussion and clarification.
  • Consultation and support to enable the organization to take charge of the evaluate and review program.
  • Review and handover.
  • Any further consultation to support the change as agreed.
